Debbie van de Laar works in employment law and advises companies on a wide range of personnel issues. She assists organisations ranging from SMEs to multinationals with employment contracts, management agreements, terms of employment and internal regulations. In doing so, she helps employers to create structure and make choices that are both legally sound and practically feasible.
In her practice, Debbie deals extensively with individual and collective dismissals, reorganisations and consultations with works councils and trade unions. She also advises on flexible employment relationships and complex cases involving illness, incapacity for work, reintegration and the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA). If legal proceedings are unavoidable, she conducts the dispute carefully and purposefully, keeping an eye on both the legal content and the interests of the organisation.
